Most AI assistants respond to prompts and stop there. Violoop executes and keeps going.
It actually controls your computer. Violoop operates at the OS level — it can interact with real applications, read and write files, run terminal commands, and automate workflows across your desktop environment. There’s no sandbox or simulation layer.
Violoop currently supports Windows and macOS, with Linux support in active development.
No. Violoop is designed to be useful whether you’re a developer running scripts or a creator organizing project files. You interact with it in plain language. The depth you get out of it scales with the complexity of what you ask.
No. Violoop does not charge any monthly subscription fee. If you choose to connect your own external LLM (such as GPT-4, Claude, or others), you'll only be responsible for the API costs charged directly by that provider — those are entirely separate from Violoop. We don't take a cut, and we don't add fees on top.
Yes — Violoop works alongside your existing tools, not instead of them. It can interact with applications you already have installed (IDEs, design software, browsers, terminal, communication apps, etc.) without requiring integrations or plugins.
Violoop processes task instructions via cloud AI models, but it does not continuously stream your screen or upload your files. Local actions (file reads, command execution, app interactions) happen on your machine. What gets sent to the AI is limited to what’s needed to complete the task you’ve requested.
Your files stay on your machine. Task history and memory are stored locally. We are building toward fully configurable data residency options for users who need stricter control over what leaves their environment.
Core automation features that operate on your local machine work without internet. Features that involve AI reasoning, web research, or cloud-connected workflows require an active connection.

Both paths support the project — but early deposit backers get more. By reserving your spot on our deposit page, you lock in a better pricing & more perks than what will be offered to backers who join through Kickstarter when the campaign goes live. Once the Kickstarter campaign opens, the early deposit pricing and exclusive perks will no longer be available.
All final charges are handled through Kickstarter after the campaign ends. Kickstarter will process your pledge according to their platform’s standard terms. You’ll receive a confirmation once your payment is finalized and your access is activated.
Your deposit will be fully refunded within 10 business days after the campaign ends. The Kickstarter pledge amount will be higher than your original deposit amount, the difference in savings will also be refunded to you within the same timeframe, so you always pay the best price you qualified for.
Deposits are accepted via all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Your final pledge is processed through Kickstarter’s platform — please refer to Kickstarter’s accepted payment methods for full details at checkout.
Yes. You may cancel your reservation at any time before the Kickstarter campaign concludes and receive a full refund of your deposit. Once the campaign ends and your pledge is activated, standard subscription cancellation terms apply.
